Sabatini Gardens

Created in the 1930s, the Sabatini Gardens now occupy what were once the Royal Palace’s stables. For this reason, they continue to face the façade of the palace. Today it has a landscape decoration that is characterized by a geometric design, surrounded by fountains, flowers, trees and statues.

Royal Botanical Garden

In the CSIC research center is the Royal Botanical Garden of Madrid, a green space that Carlos III moved in 1781 to its current location. Currently, the garden has three stepped terraces characterized by the green and light of its more than 30,000 plants from around the world.

Retiro Park

It is the most famous park in the capital. In the heart of Barrio Salamanca, very close to the Puerta de Alcalá, is the lung of Madrid: Parque El Retiro. In the Parque del Oeste, near Moncloa, there is a large rose garden of more than 30,000 square meters. Built in 1956 by Ramón Ortiz, the famous rose garden has a pond with water lilies, countless roses and truly magical corners.

Madrid Rio

It is one of the most recent green areas of the capital. Since it was inaugurated in 2011, the Madrid Río area has not stopped receiving the visit of thousands of people who seek to walk through nature without having to leave the city.
